Growth of services of car-care centres has affected payments to participants of road accident. Still one year ago the average size of one insurance indemnification made 548,8 Ls. However the last three months this indicator has grown to 740 Ls on 35 % for a year. Thus, insurance inflation approximately has twice exceeded the nation-wide.
According to the chairman of board of the Latvian bureau of insurers of motor transport Юриса Стенгревицса, prompt growth of indemnifications was observed and in previous years. Thus it mismatched growth of insurance awards therefore insurers ОСТА incurred essential losses.

As a whole for first three months of this year 10 008 insurance cases are registered, 9 501 from them has occurred in Latvia, 507 more in other countries. From local Latvian road accidents of 60 % of the registered failures has occurred in Riga.
