Swedes will start to insure animals in Latvia

In the first quarter of the next year in Latvia Swedish insurance company Lansforsakringar (LF Group) plans to begin the work. The head of the Latvian branch is already chosen, to them became Айвар Вилнитис. The first products which will be offered in market OCTA, KASKO and real estate insurance. Later LF Group will estimate also introduction possibility on the market of other insurance products, the newspaper “Telegraph” writes.

LF Group from 30 % is the leader of this segment of the market of insurance of Sweden. The volume of a market share in a segment of pension insurance and life insurance, and also in a bank segment is equal, accordingly, 10 % and 3 %. LF Group offers also service Agria Djurforsakring (insurance of animals). The volume of actives LF Group reaches 18 billion EUR.
