Ladies and gentlemen, children and young men!
I am glad to be present at Daugavpils at ceremony of award of the award of competition “Kop/Together”.
“Kop/Together” is a project which we wished to show to its majesty Elizavete-Ii that she has seen public integration of Latvia into EU.
Why us integration and the public into Latvia worries? We wish to help Latvia, the partner in the European Union and NATO, to generate a society in which everyone can is high-grade to participate in development of the earth.
I hope, that many of you saw постановоку “Kop/Together” which passed in October on arena Riga. Representation was fantastic and improbably touching.
This representation should inspire and induce schools and youth groups to be published with the ideas. To hold competition society Apeirons has helped.
On this competition 65 demands from all Latvia have been submitted. But their big half is sent from Latgale, basically from Daugavpils.
We have received so much remarkable ideas, that winners to define it was very difficult. After long negotiations of jury has chosen six projects which corresponded to versatile requirements.
I hope, that these awards will help to inspire youth of Latvia on formation of a society without discrimination in which nobody feels superfluous. I wish all of you of good luck in realisation of your remarkable ideas.
It is my last visit to Daugavpils.
