The ministry of well-being since January, 1st, 2008 намерено to insure the women who are on welfare on the occasion of a birth of the child, and parents who raise the child till one and a half years. In case of physical inability approach the insured persons can receive pension if the general experience of insurance is not less than three years.
Now the Law does not provide the state insurance on a case of physical inability of the persons who have recently become by parents.
In Latvia plan to enter insurance on a case of physical inability for the persons who are in holiday on the occasion of a birth of the child, radio station SWH + transfers on Thursday, on June, 7th. Corresponding amendments to the Law on the state social insurance were developed by the well-being Ministry.
