Insurers will pay for old machines as for new

The federal antimonopoly service suggests to count compensation of damage on ОСАГО without taking into account age of the suffered car, “Businessman” informs. If the offer will be accepted, insurers will be obliged to compensate cost of new spare parts even if to the machine already it is a lot of years.

Now the insurance companies at calculation of payments consider amortization of cars. As a result the owner of the supported machine at identical damages receives considerably smaller indemnification, than the owner of the new car. Thus, the majority of claims to the insurance companies is made just with cases when owners damaged not new machines do not agree with the sum of payments.

In the Ministry of Finance consider offer ФАС reasonable, however mark, that before to make any decision, it is necessary to count its economic consequences. Representatives of the insurance companies are assured, that the principle " new for old " can be entered only if tariffs on ОСАГО will be increased in some times.
