The state agency of obligatory insurance of health (ГАОСЗ) has published information sheets by means of which patients of hospitals can precisely learn about quotations on services of medical institutions. Circulation big so the information will provide each client of a hospital

The leaflet brings to the notice of patients, that acting on treatment in hospital by way of turn or as a result of a urgent situation, the patient should pay ONLY a payment for each day lead by a hospital. Thus the total sum paid for treatment, should not exceed 80 латов. Paid services which are offered in addition by hospital, are not considered obligatory. Unique exception are scheduled operations on эндопротезированию – a knee, a shoulder or a hip when the patient pays 50 % from cost of service.
Categories of patients which are released from payment пациентских payments are in detail described also and treated free of charge. They are children till 18 years, pregnant women and women of the postnatal period, deprived, sick of a tuberculosis and many other things.
ГАОСЗ also reminds, that it is necessary to pay for day of stay in regional versatile hospitals 5 латов, in the specialized centers – 4 лата, local versatile hospitals – 3 лата and in specialized hospitals – 1,5 лата.
