Consumer prices in Latvia in April, 2006 in comparison with March have raised on 0,6 %, annual inflation (in comparison with April, 2005) has made 6,1 %, testify data ЦСУ. |
In April in comparison with March of the price for the goods in Latvia have raised on 0,8 %, on services – on 0,1 %; in comparison with April of the last year – accordingly on 6,4 % and 5,3 %.
The greatest influence on inflation was rendered with a rise in prices on
Gasoline – on 11,7 % (only for a month the price has risen on 5,7 %),
Services of a public catering – on 12 %,
теплоэнергию – on 15,6 %.
Telecommunication services have fallen in price on 9 %.
Here is how the head of management of the analysis of the markets and branches SEB Latvijas Unibanka Andris Vilks has commented data ЦСУ:
- In April inflation was at a predicted level. It was influenced with predicted factors – increase of the prices for a combustible, seasonal rise in price of clothes and footwear. Stable increase of the prices for products, services of public health services and public catering was observed. However gradually the rise in prices abates. However, especially to be pleased there is nothing, as the rate of inflation is still high. While growth of economy will be very fast, in the country will be притекать greater means from the European Union and from other places and the markets will rave. We shall be compelled to live with high inflation and not clear prospect of introduction of euro.
By calculations of experts SEB Latvijas Unibanka, in May the rise in prices will be same, as in April, or even greater – at a level of 0,5 0,8 %. The rise in price of fuel, gas, services and products will affect it.
