On May, 2nd NATO has allocated about 30 million латов for development Лиелвардского of air station
Minister of Defence of Latvia Атис Слактерис is happy with attraction so greater means for military needs and an opportunity of development of air station. On Лиелвардский the air station is planned to translate the technics of Air forces placed now in cities and the equipment of communication.
The air station if it is required, can serve spare and for landing civil planes and for needs of military aircraft of NATO.
